Community Academy
The Community Collaborative at Park Street Elementary provides kindergarteners through fifth grade students an in-depth academic program that incorporates community outreach and support with service-based learning. The Community Collaborative approach incorporates resources and services that address school and community needs and issues, and challenges students to become civic-minded contributors.

Marietta City Schools (MCS) new School Governance Teams (SGT) and the School Council at Sawyer Road Elementary will work with their individual schools to solicit input from all parents and guardians of students attending MCS, and district employees, regarding three proposed calendar options for the 2009-2010 school year. Choice Academies Information Session, Dec. 10
A Choice Academies information session is scheduled Dec. 10, 2008 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Cobb Central Library, 266 Roswell Street in Marietta. This informative session will help parents and community members learn more about the Choice Academies application process, and the unique academic programs offered at each school.
