Park Street Programs

At Park Street Elementary, our STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) special provides students with exciting opportunities to learn through exploration, innovation, and hands-on problem-solving.

Designed as a project-based learning environment, STEM lessons are intentionally aligned to each grade level's curriculum and academic standards, allowing students to deepen their classroom learning through real-world applications. Students engage in meaningful challenges that encourage critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and perseverance as they design, build, test, and improve their ideas.

Whether students are engineering solutions, exploring scientific concepts, utilizing technology, or applying mathematical reasoning, STEM empowers them to become curious thinkers and confident problem-solvers. Through engaging, hands-on experiences, students develop the skills needed to succeed in an ever-changing world while discovering the excitement of innovation and discovery.

Park Street Elementary is excited to introduce Spanish Discovery, a brand-new special area class that will be offered to all students beginning this school year!

In addition to our current specials, Art, STEM, Physical Education, and Music, students will now have the opportunity to explore the beautiful language of Spanish while learning about the rich cultures, traditions, and heritage of Spanish-speaking communities worldwide.

Through engaging lessons, interactive activities, music, games, and cultural experiences, Spanish Discovery will help students develop language skills, global awareness, and an appreciation for the things that make our world unique. Whether students are learning their first Spanish words or building on existing knowledge, this exciting new special will inspire curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning.

At Park Street, we are committed to preparing students to thrive in an increasingly connected world, and Spanish Discovery is another step toward providing meaningful, enriching experiences for every Panther.
 

The Park Street Performing Panthers is an auditioned performing arts group for 3rd–5th grade students at Park Street Elementary. It is designed to provide students with meaningful opportunities to develop their skills in music, theater, movement, and performance.

Through rehearsals, performances, and special events, students strengthen their musical and theatrical abilities while developing important skills that extend beyond the stage. Performing Panthers emphasizes collaboration, confidence, responsibility, perseverance, creativity, and leadership.

How do I sign up for before-school and after-school care?

Sign up for Before or After School care directly on the Marietta Community School website.

How often do the student clubs meet?

Most of our student clubs meet once a week after school for one hour.
