The Park Street Performing Panthers is an auditioned performing arts group for 3rd–5th grade students at Park Street Elementary. It is designed to provide students with meaningful opportunities to develop their skills in music, theater, movement, and performance.
Through rehearsals, performances, and special events, students strengthen their musical and theatrical abilities while developing important skills that extend beyond the stage. Performing Panthers emphasizes collaboration, confidence, responsibility, perseverance, creativity, and leadership.
Throughout the school year, Performing Panthers students have opportunities to represent Park Street Elementary at a variety of school and community events. Performances may include:
- Musical theater productions
- School concerts and celebrations
- Community events
- Sporting events
- Special performances and ceremonies
- Other school and community performance opportunities
Students may have opportunities to participate in singing, acting, dancing, choreography, and other aspects of live performance.
